FE41E-XP drivers needed

Hi, can anyone tell me if there any xp drivers available for the FE41E? I have to install xp to run software that is incompatible with vista. Is it possible to use drivers issued for another Sony model?

Welcome to Club Vaio.

This is a Vista laptop and Sony will not support XP as the operating system so it is unlikely that XP drivers will be released.

If you must run XP on your FE41E, then your best bet is to use the Preinstalled XP Drivers and the Preinstalled XP Utilities for the FE31B which has almost the same specification.

Hello. I just received a Sony VAIO VGN FE41E Notebook as gift from a very good friend who live in Italy.My problem is that the notebook is made to run Vista on it and i really need to run XP.
I downloaded and installed the drivers for VGN FE31B (i`m not sure if exactly from this link http://support.vaio.sony.co.uk/downloads/preinstalled/preinstalled.asp?site=voe_en_GB_cons&c=0&s=VGN...) ,and i have 2 problems:
1. After i install the drivers and the kaspersky antivirus, kaspersky warn me that my drivers are infected with jeefo32. I got a jeefokiller from web and now kaspersky don`t detect anything, but...i`m not sure my system is safe. What should i do ?
2. My 5 buttons : mute , - , + , S1 , S2 don`t work.
