So i just got a sony FW21L.
Everything working fine, but i can here a constant "hum " from the bottom right hand corner between the touchpad and the usb ports ( perhaps where my harddrive or cpu is situated?), it sounds like a small fan constanly running. It is not very loud and i can only here it with a quiet background noise or less, but i am curious if this is normal?
If it is a fan shouldnt it turn off when cool as my laptop does not feel hot? I thought that as its a powerful system it may have a fan over CPU as to keep it cool constantly.

I think this is normal as my Vaio does this too but i never took much notice really as i usually have music on when im on it
