itunes and new fz31z 4mb cache, 4gb memory

hi
i have about 35gb of music on my ipod and have made 7 back up discs to move onto my new vaio.
i get about 4 disks onto new machine then it tells me there isnt enough memory on c drive.
i dont understand whats going on??
can anyone help me please, am really upset about this, want my new toy to work!!

Hi Kirsty

Have you tried moving it to D:\iTunes\?

Then in iTunes specify that your library is there by going to File > Preferences.
Click on advanced
Click the "keep my iTunes folder organised
Click on the "change" button on the side of the box with the current location
Enter D:\iTunes\
Click OK
Then in the advanced menu - click on Consolidate Library.
Click consolidate, note this is not irreversible.
Now if you go to D:\iTunes\ you should find all your music.

THX 4 info, i uploaded 2 disks at a time, shut it down then reopened, and it worked. A bit crude but its all working gr8!!
