Light patches on screen are not going away

Hi, My Vaio N-series, VGN-N11H has developed a darker patch on the screen at the bottom right hand side. But more worrying is the large - 2 inches around - patches which seem to be a whitish pink. There are two of those on the left hand side. Is my screen burning?

Thoughts please? Is it claimable under guarantee?

You need to contact Vaio-Link support to see if your particular problem is covered by the warranty. It sounds to me like it should be covered if it is not caused by a physical accident.

Its a screen problem. At sometime in the future, I'll get around to replacing the screen.
No rush - There's more than enough laptops in our family to use. 7 at the last count!
