I have 6gb or Ram installed and want to upgrade to the max 8gb, currently installed there is
1 x samsung 4GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600-09-10-F2 M471B5273CH0-CH9
1 x Elpida 2GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600S-9-10-F1 EBJ21uE8BFU0-DJ-F
Can i simply buy another one of the samsung 4gb dimms? or do i have to buy matched pairs?

Using the crucial tool the recommended Ram upgrade is DDR3 PC3-12800 DDR3 1600.
I thought the max memory supported by an i7 was 1333mhz?
