Printing problems

I have just purchased a vaio SVL2413Z1E. It is connected over my home wireless network to an Epson Stylus PhotoPX830FWD printer.  When I try to print anything other that a 1 or 2 page text document only the first few pages of the document print (5 or 6 pages).  Also when trying to print photographs the printing stops and only prints about half the photograph. BUT the same documents or photographs will print properly from my old computer or from my ipad which are also connected to the same printer on the same network.  I have updated the printer driver software and the firmware and have checked all the printer settings on the old computer against the printer settings on the new vaio and they are exactly the same.  The fact that exactly the same documents will print from the other computer and ipad makes me think that the problem must be something to do with the PC.  Can anyone help please?

Hi andyneat and welcome.

Is the new Vaio the only computer using Windows 8?

Have a look at this link to an Epson article: -

It is also worth checking the Epson Printer Driver is compatible with your Vaio.  Epson seem to be recommending Version 6.91for Win8 64-bit.

Thanks Blencogo.  Yes the new Vaio is the only computer using Windows 8.

I have read the Epson article and nothing resolved the problem and have version 6.91 of the printer driver
