Regiter vaio again???

I keep getting a reminder in a pop up asking me to register my vaio.
I already have!!!!
Is there any way to stop this?
My husband has the same laptop and he was sent a link to download an update but cant remember where or what.
I have a sony vaio VGN-FW11E

Hi cobrasbite2003,

welcome to Club Vaio..

You should be able to stop the registration pop-up from starting by Clicking Start , click All Programs , click Accessories, click System Tools then click Task Scheduler..

Click Continue on the User Account Control window.

In task scheduler window you should see three sections, Overview of Task Scheduler, then below this Task Status and finally at the bottom Active tasks..

In task scheduler go to the bottom section of the centre column (called active tasks)

Double click MCVRegistrationReminder1 and in the new window select disable...

Note...there may be more than 1 reminder in the task list..
