Hi. I wonder if anyone has any ideas on this issue I had last week. I was in Australia and took my Sony Vaio. At various people's houses I could connect to their wifi (as in it said I was connected) but when I went to Outlook, Crome or IE, it said I had no internet connection. I paused protection (Kaspersky) and ensured the networks were named as 'home networks' but still no joy. My iPad on the other hand had no issues connecting and working. Is there a setting I need to change on my Vaio to allow use of overseas wifi?? I got no error messages, and when I troubleshooted (is that a word?!) network connections it said everything was fine. I would really appreciate any clues on this one. Thanks.
