VAIO FZ38M in car power supply kit

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help. I have been meaning to get hold of a in car kit so i can use my laptop in the car rather than using the battery which only lasts a few hours and most of my journeys are longer than that period of time. Does anyone know what kit would suit my needs? I obviously need the right lead to connect into the power supply port on my model of laptop as all laptops have different size ports the other end being for the cigarette lighter. If any one could help i would most apreciate it.

What you need is a car power inverter.
Check your local auto shop, I'm pretty sure they will have it in stock.

There used to be a 120 Watt adapter available which is nearer the output of your mains adapter but it seems to have been discontinued. However, 90 Watts should be fine but may not recharge your battery quite as quickly.
