Hi,
I thought I would post here in the hope that someone can offer some advice regarding my dead laptop..
I had turned my laptop on and watched it resume from sleep, it got to the desktop and as I was about to start work the screen went black and the hard drives and fans spun down. I've since been unable to get any life out of it and to make matters worse its now 12 months and 2 weeks old 😞
I've tested the power supply and found its putting out the required 19.5V, I've also tried powering it without the battery in, leaving it powered off with no battery for varying lenghts of time, holding down the power key again for varying lenghts of time all with no success.
I cant contact the Sony tech support people as the laptop is outwith the gurantee period and the premium rate number is barred at work (this is a works laptop btw).
Any help appreciated!
