Why does the light/wireless stop working

Hi,

Wonder if anyone can help. I have a VGN-NR21J/S and for some reason the wireless capability just stops working. On one day the light is on and it works fine, the following day the light is off and the computer cannot connect to any wireless network. I have to do system restore to get the wireless to work again. The computer seems to think that the switch is off, but it is clearly on but without the light or capabilities.

Any ideas what it could be or why it happens please...

Have you installed the Wireless LAN Driver (Atheros) 7.4B - 7.4.2.15 driver update and also the VAIO Smart Network Update 2.0 - 2.0.1.11050 update.?
