just put bigger harddrive in to laptop running windows 7 pre

Can you give some more detail please?

• What Vaio model do you have and did it have 1 or 2 hard drives originally? (RAID 0?)
• What are the specifications and model of the new hard disc?  How is it formatted?
• Are you reinstalling the original Sony version of Windows 7 or are you installing a retail version?  I assume you are not trying to install a RTM software version?
