BBC World Service

My Pure DAB/FM/INTERNET radio picks up the BBC World Service in DAB and the signal is very strong. In the same room, my Sony XDR-S60DBP tells me that the station is "OFF-AIR". Autotune makes no difference. Can anyone explain why this is so (I know not-a-lot about radios, I'm afraid). Thank you!

Hi there

Could one radio be connecting via DAB, whilst the other is using the internet stream of which one has gone temporarily off-air.

Just a pure guess to be honest.

Is the BBC Wotkd service saved as a preset channel, either way, try doing a rescan to see if this rectifies the problem..
