MDR-HW-700 DSP

Headphones switch audio on when I put them on my head, thats fine.  When I take the off the DSP does not go in to stanby so audio not returned to receiver/speakers as per manual.  I haveto go over to the DSP and trurn it off for audio to be reurned to system :-(.

Faulty phones, DSP or BUG?

Hi there

I have had a look at your problem - however I am struggling to understand.  Are you able to further describe what you want the headphones and Processor Unit to do?  Im assuming that you want the processor to go into standby mode when you turn the headphones off?

I found these instruction, if they are helpful:

Hi Trevor,

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..:smileyhappy:

When you remove the headphones from your head the sound should return to the system after a period of approximately 5 seconds but oddly this could be prevented if the right headphone is left at an angle..

See the following for more information..

If we have both misinterpreted your question then please post back & we will try to assist you further..:smileywink:
