Sony WH-1000XM6 for playing COD on PS5

Hi - I have just purchased a WH-1000XM6 headset which say they are suitable for gaming due to ultra low latency. I have connected to my Sony XR-55A95L TV via bluetooth which is connected to my PS5 via the HDMI 2.1 port. I am getting lag on the audio, which is noticeable on bullet shots - how do I fix it ?

best to use it wired (while switched on) by connecting it to the controller.

Using the app you can select AAC which solves the problem - I was advised to do this by a technical support team.
