My Tablet Z needed a new charging port, so the battery was left drained for a few months. Got the repairs but the guy at the shop told me to recharge the battery for 24 hrs before turning it on again. Is 24 hrs really necessary? it's been plugged in for about 12 already....

Hi @Jdanielqc, let me see if I can help out here.

Generally it can take up to 4 hours for a completely drained battery to charge fully and as you mentioned, 24 hours sounds a bit extreme, but if it 24 hours is advised by the service center it might be best to follow their instructions.
