Website-Menu closes before I can make a selecion

Hi there,

I hope someone can help me with a problem regarding my browser apps.

My tablet is a Sony Xperia Z2 and I am very happy with it, but only this tablet has some problems to open the main menu of some websites, for example www.sportverein-ringingen.de. After selecting something in the main menu I can see the process bar running, the menu opens for a while, but it closes very fast and it's not able to select something in the sub menu.

This happens in Firefox and also in Chrome, but only with my tablet. My Xperia is updated in everything, so what else could be responsible??

have you tried enabling " request desktop site" on google chrome?

Yes I did... But there is no difference. But now I've tested with my Smartphone in desktop mode an it's the same problem. I suppose it's also a problem of that Joomla-Page.

I'm sorry to hear about that.

I tried to replicate this on 2 different tablets, Xperia Z2 tablet and Xperia Z4 Tablet and I experienced the same behaviour when tapping the icon shown in your screenshot. The menu closed down very quickly and it was impossible to tap on "Fotoalbum".

I then visited the website in my phone and when not using the desktop version it works fine. You can navigate to this menu using the 3 small lines at the very top of the website and find "Fotoalbum" in the list here.

I would recommend that you get in contact with the owners of the homepage to make them aware of this. As a workaround you could create a bookmark that links directly to the Fotoalbum on that page using the link below:

http://www.sportverein-ringingen.de/index.php/der-verein/fotoalbum

Open up the link in Chrome > tap the 3 dots in the top right corner > tap on the star, the page is now bookmarked and you can use the bookmark to visit the fotoalbum!
