Thanks for posting and actions above - just to reitterate that I left the store with my x and remember feeling I'd been short-changed. Normally a new phone gives you a lift but I'd not checked the specs and the x doesnt have waterproofing. I was sucked in by the 32GB internal memory and like a compact phone - have had sony's the last three (z3 compact was a great phone bar the 16GB internal memory). The iphone x is not a lot bigger...
what were the dev's thinking by leaving off screen-recording - surely that's a deliberate decision requiring addition effort to downgrade. Thanks for the app recommendations. I see apple are making a fuss about screen recording in ios11...
