Headphone jack issue

Hello,

Last week I used my phone in the pool underwater. Now it works perfectly except from the headphone jack which won't recognise my hands-free or any other minimal.
Please help me with your suggestions.

Try to clear the SmartConnect app data.

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the SmartConnect app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

I guess I must clear the inside of the jack to have any luck......

Ok. You can also contact Sony Xperia support If it still doesn't work.

Ok tried cleaning it with ear cleaners and alcohol but still not working.

THe issue of contacting Sony Zperia support is that I live in Albania, my country is not included in the drop down list of the Sony support page and secondly I have bought the phone online from ebay.

Does this mean I am out of options?
