Issue playing videos? Z3

Copied across a couple of seasons of programs to the sd card.

After episode 7 the phone refuses to play simply stating "cannot play video".

Cannot work out why. They are all the same format.

There is a blue star/blob next to each file that won't play.

I have tried converting the files to various formats using div x.
The phone even offered to convert for me while copying across.

Tried different video apps

Even attempted to stream from pc.... Nothing.

Any help or go arounds?

i am also facing video playback issue after 5.1.1 update. no matter what video file from internal/SD card i play. video lags behind. i tried on MX, VLC and sony video player all same.

perhaps the SD card has corrupted the files.

issue is present with files played from internal memory as well.

yes, same issue in safemode.

are those videos recorded with your Z3 or downloaded/transferred videos?

retransfer the files using either MediaGo or PCC

I had the same problem after updating as well. Not on all videos though. The problem is fixed when I use SW secoder on MX Player instead fo the HW decode. See if this works for you as well.
