phone cleared of everything after downloading android 5.0.2, help how to get atleast images back

Hi,

I recently downloaded the new android version 5.0.2, I did it using my laptop as I know what me and technology are like and if I didn't back everything up I know I'd loose it.. Well! Even though I'd spent around an hour and a half waiting for it to backup, the phone then completely messing up and not turning on after the download and having to restore the phone to the last android version it could; I found that the back up hadn't worked. I'm absolutely devostated as there are hundreds of memories stored in them photos and I was wondering if anyone knew how I might get them back or how to contact Sony about their shockingly "helpful" system.

However if you have a .dbk backup file then you could try changing the extension in this case .dbk to .zip or .rar and extracting the contents to a folder and you may have some hope and find your images
