Am dissatisfied contacted the repair status information from XPeria Care. I have sent my Z2 for repair on 19th August and a day later, the repair job was "received Device" status and has since (11 days) remained unchanged at this status. Does this mean that my device remains lie unrepaired?

Based on your text, it does not sound like the phone yet has been repaired. But since repairs is handled at a local level, I suggest that you contact your local support team which should be able to provide you with further information such as status:
