Hi I am new to Sony and the forum.

I would like to know why the screen response time is so slow? It is really annoying playing games and the response is not accurate and lags.

I was playing a driving game and the accelerator responds very slow. I played the same game on my Samsung S3 and it runs smooth. I tested this in many games. All the same very poor response, also in the UI the response is slow.

Is there a fix for this?

How can I speed up the screen response time?

Go for a software repair

Backup everything as it will erase all data on phone (sms, contacts,apps)
Update/Repair your phone via SUS

SUS ( Sony Update Service) ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions

I did the repair with SUS and there is no difference.

But I was able to find and fix this problem. I turned off the Magnification gestures setting. I think the triple tapping feature has something to do with this. Everything worked fine after that.

It's because it has three times touch function. When you touch 3 times fast, it zooms and if you remove this zoom setting it won't wait to se if you are touching three times to zoom or touching and for example holding the gas in the game. settings-accessibility-magnification gestures must be off. Enjoy your games :))
