Help me finding a new phone!

Hi there!

I've had a Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact for well over 2 years now, and thinking about retiring it and get a new phone.

I've been looking a bit at the Sony Xperia 1, but I'm afraid I'll end up downgrading sound and overall experience, while getting a much larger phone (which I'm not really interested in, hence why I've had a compact model for the past 3 times I've gotten a new phone) by making the switch.

So, has anyone made this switch, and can tell me about that experience? Is it better? Is it worse? 

Does anyone have an Xperia 1 and want to tell me about their overall experience with it?

Or is there anyone who might have a better suggestion towards what phone I should get instead?

Not an Xperia 1 but Xperia 5

The finger print sensor is very annoying but otherwise it is great phone... the length is good enough to consume media comfortably and the width is almost the same as XZ1... the battery life comes close enough

And beware there is no xperia email or xperia actions on Xperia 5
