Phone use in Mexico

I'm planning a trip to Cancun Mexico and need to know if my phone will work there or to get it to work there. I currently have service thru Straight Talk  I don't think that will work but I have the option for dual Sims cards.

Cancun!!!! awesome, you'll have a lot of fun, don't forget to visit Isla Mujeres.

You can use your Xperia XZ1 in Mexico, straight talk use AT&T network; with AT&T you have 1GB of data, if you have a contract, with AT&T; but it'll be easier and cheaper to buy an AT&T prepaid SIM card, add $300 pesos to it, so you'll have 2GB of data, and 2GB of social networks data.

Another suggestion, don't get the prepaid SIM card at any store, if possible go to an AT&T store/center, not to an authorized vendor, otherwise you won't get as much data.
