Hello,

After update to 8.0 I've got a problem with battery drain in my XZP.

The highest battery usage is when te phone is "unactive" now in 8.0 the best operating time is sth about 16-20h max. In Nougat more more than 24-30h...

I made repair a software after previous installation by PC Companion and now reset by the phone - nothing helps...

@Teyooare there any other apps on the "Use since last full charge" list?

from your notification bar it looks like you're running some apps in the background (the first one is probably a weather app; the clock icon is Timely I think? no idea about the squarish one). that might contribute to the battery drain.

Hi,

my apps in background are the same as I use in Nougat...there are no changes, I didn't install anything new.

Now in Oreo after full charge the operating time in the settings is 24h, actually it's an average of ~16h...in Nougat was more more better.

Aww snap!! Still phone idle drains a lot!! thought it was fixed with 7.1.2!! AFAIK it's not Sonys fault...hope Google fixes it in future updates!! It was below 10% in 6.0!

For me the screen quality has very visibly decreased with the latest software, and the speakers audio is much worst. The screen now looks worse than the z2 3 4 5 and z5 premium which I find massively disappointing. All sony recommend is a reset I don't have time for the inconvenience and plus this won't fix the issues I'm experiencing

I gave the same problem with the battery. It used to keep three days. Now only two after update. And a problem with brightness level. At a low level it blinks.

As you can see, there's a problem with the battery in XZ Premium dual with Oreo....

42% and only 5 hours???.??

Take a screenshot of the list of apps that are using the battery > tap on each app and take a screenshot (at least on the top 5) post the screenshots here.

I forgot what was most important - I restored the phone to factory settings about 1-2 hours ago ... But the working time is awful ...

From 1h40min - 17% (after reset 57% now 40%)

Hi I got exactly same issue after 8.0 upgrade. Battery used to be superb in 7.0 and screen is always top consumption with more than 50%. Now phone idle consumes much more than before.
