Ear speaker issue comes out after 3 days!

i just bought this phone 4 days ago hoping for the best quality as i had xperience before in neoV. But im now very disappointed because my ear speaker is having a shadow soud (like tuning in an am radio) after a sound. imagine after only 4 days. i think it starts after i used my phone in loudspeaker mode for 1 hour. but atleast if this is a great phone it will not happen. This is my last purchase in sony. Im doubtful in their future designs. Im not happy to use this phone, planning to bring it back to phone shop i bought or i well sell and get another brand.

Hi bryan_brunei,

Do you have a case on the device? and if so have you tried removing it to see if the issue continues?

no only a screen protector.

I supposed to buy a Z3+ 4 days ago, luckily it is not available here in Brunei. Otherwise i will curse this brand! Imagine you are paying huge money for this quality.

Ps. found another issue. When trying to make a call and putting your ear on phone it makes a Gurgles sound also.

In such a case your best option may be returning the device back to the place of purchase, however such an issue can be caused by third party software or software not working as it should.

You could attempt a software repair first before taking it back.

Here's how to run the repair on PC Companion:

1. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
2. Phone Software Update.
3. Start.
4. Repair Phone
5. Continue
6. Accept data removal
7. Next
8. Wait for prepare
9. Select Phone
10. Follow the connection steps

And Bridge for Mac:

1. Launch Bridge for MAC without the handset connected.
2. On the Main Window select "Xperia > Repair Xperia Device".
3. Ensure the phone is charged and select "Ok" in the following window.
4. Select Continue on the following page.
5. Wait until the initialising step is finished the continue as below.
6 . Select your model of phone from the list that appears
7. Follow the connection steps that appear, ensuring that you are holding the relevant button down before during and after the connection phase until the update/repair begins.

Let us know how you get on.

Third party softwares can disable in safe mode am i right? I tried it already but the same occurs. See i spend a lot of time just to troubleshoot.

Safemode does stop third party software yes, however if the issue with OS software then it would likely still occur. However if you do not wish to perform any troubleshooting then taking it back to the place of purchase would provide you with the best result.

Ok i will bring it back where i bougth this. If this a hardware problem, all the future owners of Z3 will face same issue. I think all of the manufactured Z3 will hacve same problem
