WiFi calling not working

Xperia 1 ii. Was using O2 SIM and had WiFi calling. Changed SIM card to EE, now no WiFi calling and setting disappeared. Contacted EE who confirmed they had WiFi calling set, but still no WiFi calling.

I have tried all the usual recommended fixes: reset phone, reset router, try in airplane mode but with wifi on, reset network settings and all have made no difference.

@Floaty77 Update the software of your phone, if it's not working also, so it's related to the EE SIM card, you can navigate the network settings if there is a specific setting needs to be configured for WiFi calling with EE. Try also removing the SIM and inserting it again.

Thank you for taking the time to offer your help, really appreciated. I have the latest android 12 for this model, I've already tried all of your suggestions. I bought the phone from O2, the WiFi calling worked and the settings for it were visible. The phone is unlocked and I have changed to EE. The EE SIM has been configured for WiFi calling according to EE. Since installing EE SIM I have no WiFi calling and the settings for it are gone! If I search settings I'm told not found. The SIM allows WiFi calling if put in another phone, which suggests that my phone won't allow EE WiFi calling, but will allow other networks. Very frustrating as I live in Snowdonia and can't get a signal, so rely on WiFi. I can't switch back to O2 as now on a contract with EE
