A5000 comparison

Hi.. I've had the sony a5000 camera for about 18 months. I love the camera, which is primarily used to photograph pets etc. The only problem is.. having to keep changing over the lens.

What i would like advice on.. is there a camera out there with very similar spec as the a5000 but with a built in telephoto lense?

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

As you love your camera why not buy a zoom lens for your current a5000??

I'm not sure what lens you currently have but I'm presuming you have the 16-50mm kit lens, if so there is a

55-210mm telephoto lens which was also sold as part of a dual lens kit which may cover the range your after??

If you do decide on purchasing the above lens be aware when ordering that the lens comes in silver or black..

I already have the telephoto lens for my a5000. The problem/annoyance i have is having to keep swapping over lenses whilst i am out taking photos of my dogs. I miss so many spontaneous moments as they are either too close or too far away. I love the speed that it takes photos and was wondering if there is a similar spec camera with the zoom lens built in.

ah In that case you might want to look at models in the 'big zoom' cyber shot range..

It would probably be best for you to visit your local camera specialist, if you can, so that you can compare models & pick one that fits your needs..
