Hi all, I am having huge problems with my new TV connected to my Sky Q 2TB Box.
All starts off okay but gradually the sound begins to lag behind the picture until it breaks up and sounds like Mikey Mouse.
If I turn the TV off and on again it will be okay for another 5 minutes or so ... repeat but the symptoms are the same.
I have tried all HDMI ports and tried different HDMI cables.
Have set Sky and the individual HDMI port to the same settings but no difference.
Any help would be so much appreciated.
Many thanks ...
p.s. works fine with my old TV
Same issue for lots of us 😕
Exactly the same problem with 1TB box. Have tried everything suggested and totally fed up.
Woeful lag and unacceptable.
TV JUST THREE MONTHS OLD.
Uninstal app: Tunein from Tv. Unplug tv from electricity and turn on and try.
Thanks for your reply,
Can't see how Sony can put these TV's to market with I feel is such a fundamental fault, spent hours trying different settings, cables and HDMI ports. As I said , works fine on my old TV so reluctant to start playing with the settings on my sky box (unless i note them down) but might give it a go today ...
regards
ps. gonna try an optical cable later as well.
Hi, thanks for your reply, uninstall what App? as far as I know I am not using any apps, just HDMI from sky box. Have tried tuning TV from aerial input, unplugging but the fault remains...
regards,
ps. gonna try an optical cable later today...
Read post before: go to apps in your TV. Find app: Tunein and uninstall it. And then problems will disappear. This app working all-time on background doing problems.
Well well. Thank you, removed App, unplugged and plugged back in and hey presto been watching for an hour with no problems.
Thanks for the advice !!!
