Hi @swordsjh   What exactly would you like to do with your ipad?

Obviously you can connect your iPad to any modern TV using an HDMI lead and AV adaptor.

YouTube casts directly to the TV and BT Sport casts to the TV fine.

You cannot cast Prime Video, I don't know about Netflix but then again why would you as you use the Apps on the TV.

There are Apps available in the Google Play Store to mirror an iPad but I find them a bit flakey. For example AirScreen works fine in use but kept rebooting my TV when not in use.

Obviously it is best to use an Apple TV box connected to the TV for serious use.

Hi @swordsjh   You cannot mirror it direct, you are going the have to use something like AirScreen (flakey) from the Google Play Store or try to find an App on the iPad to mirror it to Chromecast.

Thanks for that. It looks like I will have to buy an Apple cable connection at £49. Don’t feel like paying that for a bit of cable and a small hdmi connection box. Think I will download my Holiday album onto my laptop and watch from there
