Sony A1 oled picture issues

My tv is in its 5th year of guarantee. 
during the last month it has begun to constantly fluctuate brightness irrespective of the sensor being on or off!
It is also displaying a darker picture in certain films. 
Has this been experienced or commented on elsewhere and what may I do to resolve this disappointing problem

Hi. It’s fixed now following Sony support and a series of re- boot etc. It was associated with the Google/android app which somehow appears to have been at fault. 
Regarding the film. It was Encanto which is a rather dark picture but this was way too dark.

 yes it’s software is up to date. 
it seems to be a common issue so what is the solution?

Hi @SRT3333, since this is a recent issue and it's was working fine before, have you tried resetting the picture settings to it's factory settings and check?

If you want to reset the Picture setting, press the action menu button, then select Picture — Advanced settings — Reset.

Also what are the types of films that you would normally have a darker image on?
