Sony Bravia KD43XG8196 All4 / Ch5 apps not working

I can't get All4 or Ch5 and i suspect ITV hub to work on my TV. You view is enabled and i've cleared the cache but still the apps just hang and don't play the program. Any ideas?

Re running initial setup is usually an easier fix than a factory reset

However that's to cure the issue on all4 and itv hub if the app and adverts work but the Tv show itself doesn't play.  You have to accept all sony and youview terms and conditions. You mention My5 not working and that's not linked to youview at all. To check this go to the play store and re download My5 to see if it plays ok

Factory Reset the TV, and then when setting up again, accept all the T&Cs individually, instead of the blanket acceptance.


My favourite bedtime reading is a Sony product manual…
