Hi.
My elderly parents have a Sony tv model KD43xD8099 which is approx 3 years old
In wifi settings it says connected no internet. I have talked them through reconnecting (over FaceTime) due to lock down. They have reset the router. Still not working. It says connected no internet.
The internet is working on other devices without any issues.
They normally have sky, but there is a problem with the dish, but because they live in sheltered community sky engineers are not permitted on the premises. I suspect the internet may have never been working through the tv as they have always used sky with this tv, so wouldn’t have been aware if there was an issue.
without being able to access apps such as bbc iplayer they are restricted to just being able to watch what is on the tv at the time. Which is a shame as they are confined to the house and the tv keeps them busy.
i am looking for some trouble shooting ideas I could run through with them to put this right. Any help would be appreciated

Thank you now resolved. Not so simple directing elderly parents by facetime but got there in the end 👍👍
