Timer List Full

My Sony 48” Oled TV won’t let me record to an external hard drive. It worked perfectly until this week but now tells me my timer list is full and I need to delete titles.  There are no listings showing on my timer list which is empty.  I usually only record one off programs. How do I resolve this issue?

So I've just checked, there are 3x Apps you need to delete the Cache and Data on all.

1:Settings/Apps/See All Apps/ Recorded Title List - Delete Data and Cache

2: Settings/Apps/See All Apps/Timers - Delete Data and Cache

3: Settings/Apps/See All Apps/Show System Apps/RecService - Delete Data and Chache.

See if that works👍

Press Rec Timer on remote, Go to Recorded Title List, Timer list/Timer settings (it's at the top!)

Scroll over to either Recording Timer list of Recording Error List....delete everything.

Should be fixed

Unfortunately the proposed solution does not work.  There is nothing showing to delete in either the Recorded Timer List or Recording Error List

Have you got something recurring, a TV series? Maybe find the record app and delete cache in the Android Apps, reformat your HDD or just unplug and replug the HDD into the TV...

Hey @Doody1955,

What's the exact model of your TV?

In the meantime, you can check this link for information about recording: https://bit.ly/3lPRaVA

Sadly, deleting app data and cached files did not work for me. I have to do a soft reset on my TV every day, as it hangs when powered on. Sometimes I can see my recorded programmes, other times it tells me I have no recordings. I cannot program any new recordings due to the timer being 'full'. It's very frustrating, as it worked really well for a while.
