miniDV premium to HC7E

Hello, i'd like to ask this: can I use a sony miniDV premium casette with my HDR-HC7E camcoder (miniDV HDV casettes are recommended)? could there by any possible problem with that?

Hi stark.ma, welcome to the Sony Forums

The premium tapes should be fine with your camera. HDR tape is less likely to produce 'dropouts' in the recorded footage but in practice most cams work just as well with the cheaper tapes
