Hello cassoplad

Would a piece of software like RevolverHD be suitable for this purpose? It lists 3D editing / export amongst the available features and although there is only a mention of a Panasonic 3D camera, it may be worth contacting their customer support to see whether there would be any compatibility with the Sony model:

Thanks,

Simon

Hi There,

I would seriously suggest using Sony Vegas 11 to edit the output, the only problem is you will then need a   Bluray Authoring program. The main software types are:

Sony Blu-print v 6 - c. $96K yes thats 96,0000 dfollars !!

Netblender Dostudio - c. $6K

Scenarist BD 5.7 - c. $49K

In reality the software has not kept up with the hardware - or at least at a price consumers can use.

The only real way to produce BD3D disks at present is to use Cyberlink Powerdirector 10 Ultra c. $100 yes thats only 100 dollars - however whilst it will produce BD3D it is certainly not as slick as the above.

I have used it and for a basic BD3D with Menus it does a reasonable job - but it is limited!

Also the european version of this cam TD10E cannot output the 3D video at 23.976 - which is the requires out put for full HD BD3D - all this means you cannot produce real BD3D films using this camera if you have the european version.
