Hi Guys,
Anyone know what the smallest aperture settable is.
The Smallest I can set to, even in Manual Mode, is f8.1.
I need more "depth of field" maybe f16 or f22
Any help would be most appreciated, I has tried removing the battery also a factory reset all to no avail.
If this is correct, I can live with it, but I wondered if there was something wrong. Help!!

Hi Bucksboy,
welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..
Looking at the H400 manual it states -
Manual Exposure Shooting
You can shoot at your favorite exposure by manually setting shutter speed and aperture value.
1. Set the mode dial to (Manual Exposure Shooting).
2. Press on the control button.
3. Press / to select the desired shutter speed, and press / to select the aperture (F value).
Select a shutter speed from 1/2000 seconds to 30 seconds.
When zoom is set fully to W, you can select an aperture of F3.4 or F8.1.
When zoom is set fully to T, you can select an aperture of F6.5 or F8.0. 4.
Press the shutter button to shoot the image.
Which would suggest that there is nothing wrong..

Thanks Thalamus for replying,
Did a thorough search through the manual this morning and found this info. Must have missed relevant page the first time. Just nice to know that's the way it's supposed to be. Problem solved - Thank You
