Macro filter on "Point and Shoot Cameras" like "Sony DSC h300"

Hi guys,I just wanted to ask if I could put a macro filter on my Sony cybershot h 300,is it possible because I love macro photography

welcome to the Sony User Community Forum..

I'm not sure to be honest it would seem that the official response from Sony is no for your H300 but others with a HX300 have had success with a 55mm filter, best I can suggest is to visit a local camera retailer & see if you can test fitting a filter before buying..
