I’ve followed all the instructions to set up a wi-fi connection between my new RX100M5 and my iPhone 7. The Profile DIRECT - ****:DSC- RX100M5 appears to have installed correctly and loads up when I set up the wi- fi connection on the camera. What happens is the message “connecting” shows on the camera screen and that’s it. I’ve left it running for several minutes before giving up.
Any suggestions as to how to sort this out would be much appreciated.
Hi @Jimmybill,
you have to connect your phone to the cameras WiFi network - if the camera says "connecting" it seems like you set something up differently.

Thanks for replying. I do connect the iPhone to the cameras wi-fi - it shows the connection has been made. Once I do that the screen on the camera shows “connecting” and that’s it - nothing else happens. I’m sure this cannot be unique to me so I’m hoping someone on this forum has already experienced this problem and has a solution.
