Transfering pictures from DSC-WX350 to Samsung Galaxy S2 TABLET

Trying to use Play mobile to transfer files, used to work fine on a Tesco HUDL but cannot get it to work with my new Samsung tablet. Tried asking Sony and Samsung but no joy, I cannot believe I am the only one having a oroblem with this. I get WIFI Direct to connect then go to PlayMobile and it tries to connect for a while then gives up. I have no idea what to try....

the first time you set up the "playMobile" on your tablet, did you change your tablet wifi connection to the one of the camera, ie "Direct-ROC..." with password and saved it. Once you have done this, later usage is automatic ...
I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 and it is working great!

The Sony app used to work on my iPad brilliantly but after an update it is no longer supported so I use the android app on my phone instead.
