Are 720p{and above} HD videos slow/laggy on xE?

is it my phone   or       is xperia e just not powerfull enough to handle 720p and above?

720p videos on an Xperia E its an overkill, why? well your screen's resolution is 

320 x 480  far from 720 x 1280

colors

Xperia E has 256K not 16 777 216

My laptop has 1280x720res but can play 1080p......

Yes, indeed your laptop not your phone, its different

The Xperia E its only capable of recording VGA videos

How about Mobo Player ? but again 720 videos on the Xperia E its an overkill

Ya I have both mobo and mx player... They both play at same speed,quality...
The reason I asked Is because once I played a 9gb 1080p 3d blueray movie on my E and it was playing it just like a 720p video (same amount of lag).....

ok? I still don't understand how come you want to play such HD movies on your phone if its far from HD
