Hello. Does anyone have this unit installed in the car?
Do you lose your car information (AC setting, heated seat controls, fans, etc)

I think there is something wrong with the connection to your car, as this mainly depends on connections. I would recommend checking a car technician to check on your car and the installation of the unit as shown here from page 27-29.
