CMT-SPZ90DB DAB Radio / CD player Aerial / antennae reception improvements?

Hi, Anyone have a way of improving the frankly crap DAB reception on these radio/cds? 

i.e. useful alternative aerials, boosters, or even better bodges than I have tried..

Bearing in mind that the unit only has the tiny 3 pin sony aerial socket...
