I went to screenshot a picture and my phone turned off and won't turn back on.

I went to screenshot a picture for a friend and the phone has turned off and won't turn back on, also when I plug in the charger the charging light doesn't come on, any help with be appreciated.

Plug it in,let it charge for 1 hour.Force restart (power button + volume up until the phone vibrates).

how long are you meant to hold the up volume button and the power button for, because i have held it for quite a while and hasn't vibrated...

You have to press them at the same time for about 6-7 seconds,the phone should vibrate.

I tried pressing both the volume buttons and power button for 7 seconds, the phone has been on charge for 1 hour. Will i have to take this to the shop i bought it from if this dosan't work?
