Hi guys, been wondering about this for a while and signed up to ask. My TV (model in the title) has an Ethernet port on it but it's only used to update the firmware on the TV. There is no smart capabilities for the TV which is a bit of a bummer.
I was wondering if maybe I could put another firmware on my TV that would take use of the Ethernet port and make my TV a smart one. It seems a waste of time to just have the RJ45 on the TV just for updates when they don't bring them out too often.
I've tried going into the service menu and changing the panel selection but I messed my tv up and it went black.
Any help would be great! Looking forward to your replies.
