I-Player is back!
Thankfully, the I-player feature is back with my Bravia as well. Now why could they not tell us they were properly working on re-instatement and save all of this aggro.
Anyway - just grateful it is now working

Although we have iplayer, why is it the SD only version with no 5.1 sound? Even the cheapest Sony Bluray player (the £49 BDP1500) has the full iplayer ap which allows you to select (HD under video settings),

Yes. But this still does not deliver a full HD stream with 5.1 sound as far as I can see ( difficult to be sure because there seems to be no way of getting information on the video/audio stream that the set is playingvia the "i" button except when playing Freeview or Netflix) like it does when using the proper Bluray ap which still allows a choice of HD or SD. Sky also still has a specific HD choice and do does Samsung, so why does Sony/Freeview not offer this?
