KDL 20S2020 - resets itself every day

I have a 10yr old KDL 20S2020.  About two months ago, it started resetting itelf daily.  Every evening when I turn it on, it wants to do a full re-tune after setting the country & language.  Every single day - it's really odd!  Once it has gone through the auto start-up, it behaves normally and has an excellent picture.

I tried the Sony customer contact today but there only suggestion was to turn it off at the wall and back on.  Funnily enough this made no difference.

Hi there

Unfortunately there is not much customer services can do to help you.  However what they should have probably done is refer you to an authorised Sony Repair centre - as it appears that your TV has developed a hardware fault.

However, due to costs etc, it may just be uneconomical to repair.
