Hi, in order to use Skype or similar, I'm just wondering if I can connect any webcam to my tv-set or if I need to buy a Sony camera.

Hi there

Unfortunately you cannot use any other manufacturers webcam.  This is because the relevent drivers needs to be installed in order for it to work, which the TV does not support.

You will need to purchase the CMU-BR200 model webcam.
