I have a bravia LCD KDL40S300.

when i swich it on it keeps defaulting to the digital channel or to av4 which is a dvd hdmi.

How do i set it to default to av1 which is my satellite receiver.

I have a similar problem.

My Sony KDL-37V5500 defaults to channel 1 terrestrial and very soon this will be turned off. How do I default to channel 1 Freeview or to the AV channel on which I have my Sly box?

Hi the TV will return to the last selected input as long as it is active, if not then it will go to the tuner, so try to turn Sky on first then your TV. There is no defaults for AV sorry.
